Welcome to Brundall Men's Shed

What We Do

Brundall Men's Shed (BMS) is, fundamentally, a safe space for men to come together and connect, converse and create. We hope soon to be able to do various craft work, but until then, and if that's not your thing, just come along, have a chat & a cuppa!

We exist to help reduce isolation in men over the age of 18, promote social inclusion and provide facilities in which they can meet to undertake creative, physical or recreational activities, pass on or learn new skills and knowledge and support each other socially. That all sounds very worthy, but we want BMS to be somewhere you can come and have a good time. Although we only have Brundall in our name, we welcome members from Brundall, Blofield, Strumpshaw and the surrounding area

Who Are We?

We were formed on 18 October 2021 and were given the keys to our Shed on 2 February 2022 with the support of Broom Boats.

We are a registered charity, reliant on funding from donations and grants. We have a

committee of trustees who are also members, so we run ourselves and are responsible for our own future.

Our tools and equipment have come from donations and grants but we are always looking for more tools and materials to allow us to expand what we do.

Where We Are?

BMS is based at Broom Boats Marina in Brundall. Parking is available opposite the now closed Yare public house. Walk past the Broom Boats reception and down the road between Broom Boats and the railway and you will find us on your left. The door to our area is indicated by a sign with our logo on it. We are open on Wednesdays from 12 noon until 3pm.
